As the year 2025 is about to end its first quarter, I complete nearly 20 years on the internet.
The internet is not what it used to be in the past.
That’s what everyone thinks. However, I think the oppossite – the internet is what it was 20 years ago.
The internet is a medium of expression.
Recently, I was reading Freud. While I loved the writing style – it mimiced a “blog” style where Freud shared his thoughts along with anecdotes and deductions from his personal experiments. However, I took a long time to process that content in my mind.
The flow of the 19th century English will make any GenZ’er toss the book away in a bin in leau of something modern.
After reading that book, I realised WHY this generation is not reading any more.
Children’s literature has changed drastically – the hottest books are heavily illustrated with large letters and less sentences per page.
Anyone can generate a 1000 word essay using LLMs.
We are at a time when quality of information will be most important, because quantity is getting too cheap.
After careful consideration of various platforms for blogging, I settled on my personal domain name instead, so that this can be archived without any restrictions. This longevity perspective comes from the fact that I am now writing for the young generation.
